PRIZE FUND €15,000
The duration of the show must be a minimum of two days and to include a National Grand Prix on a day prior to the Premier Series being run. The jumping surface must be a well-prepared grass surface or an all-weather surface and the show organisers must have a means to maintain the surface to a satisfactory standard as per recommendations from course designers, show director and SJI officials
All classes held in the main arena before the Premier Series must be pre entered on www.sjilive.ie. Show or show organisers must ensure that these classes end on time to ensure the Plusvital/ShowjumpingIreland Premier Series starts on time.
Start Time:
The starting time of the ShowjumpingIreland Premier Series is to start at 3.00pm, failure to start Grand Prix’s on time may result in the venue/show being penalised to the amount of €3,000 payable to SJI. In special circumstances, it may be possible to have a later start time. This however must be agreed in writing with the National Competitions Committee, 7 working days prior to the ShowjumpingIreland Premier Series Grand Prix.
Declarations:
All declarations must be made through SJI LIVE week-end shows: Declarations will open at 10.00am on the preceding Monday and close at 2.00pm the day before the Grand Prix.
Entry Fees:
For prize funds of €15,000 entry fee – €100, €20,000 entry fee- €125, €25,000 entry fee – €150
*There after entry fee will increase by €25 per €5,000 increase in prize fund*
**Late entries will be accepted but the entry fee in this case will double. This additional amount will be retained by SJI failure to pay this amount will lead to a block on declarations for further classes
Number of Horses:
Riders may compete on a maximum of three horses unless restricted under FEI regulations.
Fence Height:
Each Series will be run under Article 2382.2, with the fence height being 1.50mtr or a 2* Grand Prix.
Substitution:
With the permission of the Ground Jury a rider or horse may be substituted but not both.
Dress:
Must be in accordance with S.J.A.I. Rules or F.E.I. rules if this is a prerequisite of the competition. In the latter case this must be stipulated on the Show Schedule. Riders are required to wear numbers if provided. Appeals: An Appeal Committee can be formed ad-hoc if necessary.
The Appeal Committee should consist of at least 3 officials, one of which must be a senior judge and two other Showjumping Ireland officials E.G. Senior Course Designer, Stipendiary Steward, Field Steward and not related to a party interested in the result of the objection.
Where weather conditions/ground conditions are in doubt, a panel of Officials, made up of the President of the Ground Jury, the Senior Course Builder and the Stipendiary Steward will determine if the competition should continue (a) outdoors or indoors (where indoor facilities are available) and (b) decide if the fines will be waived for that round.
Judges:
A panel of 3 judges should be in place for the class made up of one Senior National or above, one National or above and one member of the SJI judge’s panel.
Starter:
A Starter must be appointed who shall, in conjunction with the Ground Jury, have authority at the entrance to the arena and may stop a competitor from entering the arena improperly dressed, without the correct number, with incorrect saddlery etc.
Course Designer:
The course must be designed and supervised by a member of the Senior National Panel, or above. (In accordance with SJI rules) Safety cups are compulsory in all National Grand Prix League Competitions, on the rear of all spread obstacles, both in the main arena, and the practice area. For the final course designer must be approved by the National Competitions Committee.
Live Streaming:
All legs will be Live Streamed via Irish Sport TV. In the event of a tie for first place at a round of the Series points will be awarded for first place i.e.,10 points to each rider. The league table will be based on leading rider/horse combination. If there is a tie for the overall winners of the Series, the highest placed rider on the final day will be the winner. It is advised that prize money for the Series is not paid out until at least 14 days after the show.

National Champion:
National Champion will be decided on the top horse/ rider combination based on all legs, equal points for all legs.
