5 & 6 year old Irish Breeders Classic Competition

The Tom O’Dwyer Horsemanship prize will be presented to the best produced and ridden horse in the Grand Final.

*PLEASE NOTE*

ALL PRIZE MONEY WILL BE PAID TO THE RIDER OF THE HORSE.

The global entry fee per horse is €270, via SJI Live.   This entry fee does NOT include stabling, please contact info@barnadownshowjumping.ie for stabling. ONSITE STABLING IS NOT COMPULSORY.

Closing date is            TBC                     . Please enter the two qualifiers as all draws are done via sji.live.

Full entry fee is required at time of entry.  €150 will be refunded should a horse be withdrawn.

Refunds will only be given up to the Start List drawn.

Closing time will be strictly adhered to with a €50 supplement being charged on late entries.

No substitutions of horses are allowed.

All classes will be run as per SJI rules.

Horses must be registered with a studbook recognised by the Irish Department of Agriculture.

All horses must be born in Ireland and have documentation to prove so i.e. Dam, Sire and breeder must be documented in the passport. Breeders address must be in Ireland. Horses born in Ireland without documentation to prove this are ineligible.

The top 30 horses or all double clears, after two qualifying rounds, will proceed to the Grand Final with the remainder eligible for the Consolation Final.

In the event of a dispute video evidence will be viewed and allowed.

Qualifying rounds will run as two phase special.

In the event of an equality of faults, cumulative time and faults over 2 qualifying rounds will decide.

A rider may ride an unlimited amount of horses in the qualifiers.  For the Grand Final a rider may only ride a maximum of 2 horses between the two aged categories.

Both finals will consist of 1 round and a jump-off in the event of more than one clear round.

This class is open to riders of any nation.

1st to 10th place – €32,000.00

€5,000 of the above prize fund will be allocated to the Breeders of the top 6 placed horses in the GRAND FINAL .

€3,150 of the above prize fund may be awarded in the form of equestrian supplies vouchers.
