ALL PRIZE MONEY WILL BE PAID TO THE RIDER OF THE HORSE.
The global entry fee per horse is €260, via SJI Live. This fee does NOT include stabling, please contact info@barnadownshowjumping.ie for stabling. ONSITE STABLING IS COMPULSORY.
Closing date is Monday, 28th August 2023 at 4pm. Please enter both qualifiers as draw via SJI live app.
Full entry fee is required at time of entry. €150 will be refunded should a horse be withdrawn.
Refunds will only be given up to the Start List drawn.
Closing time will be strictly adhered to with a €50 supplement being charged on late entries.
All classes will be run as per SJI rules.
Horses must be registered with a studbook recognised by the Irish Department of Agriculture.
All horses must be born in Ireland and have documentation to prove so i.e. Dam, Sire and breeder must be documented in the passport. Breeders address must be in Ireland. Horses born in Ireland without documentation to prove this are ineligible.
All horses must remain on-site for the entire duration of the show. Any horses leaving the show grounds without permission will be automatically eliminated.
The top 30 horses or all double clears, after two qualifying rounds, will proceed to the Grand Final with the remainder eligible for the Consolation Final.
In the event of a dispute video evidence will be viewed and allowed.
Qualifying rounds will consist of one round with a time allowed. Article 274.8.5.1
In the event of an equality of faults, cumulative time and faults over 2 qualifying rounds will decide.
PLEASE NOTE NEW RULE CHANGE
A rider may ride an unlimited amount of horses in the qualifiers. For the Grand Final a rider may only ride a maximum of 2 horses between the two aged categories i.e. 2 five year olds or 2 six year olds or one of each. Qualification is based on qualifier results.
Both finals will consist of 1 round and a jump-off in the event of more than one clear round. Article 238.2.2
This class is open to riders of any nation.
